Fee Schedule for Services

Notarial Services
Notarial fees are regulated by the state - The state's fees as of writing are included below

Taking acknowledgment | $5.00 |

This fee is set at the discretion of the notary providing services; they may choose to charge less or no fee.
Appointments are required for all notarizations, except certified copies.
Certified Copies
If mailing your document(s), a fee of $5.00 per certified copy should be included in the form of cash, or check made out to Grays Ferry Family Notary. Credit cards will only be accepted in person.
Clerical and Administrative Fees
Grays Ferry Family Notary charges a $10 flat fee for all notary appointments. (NOT walk-in or mail services)
This fee allows us to provide you with a smooth, professional experience at our practice.
This fee is due BEFORE any documents will be examined, and is non-refundible once your appointment starts.
Please make sure your documents are able to be notarized before your appointment to avoid losing your fee.
Credit/debit card processing
A 3% fee is due for all credit card transactions.
Remote Online Notarization (RON) Fee
Our RON provider, PandaDoc, charges a $15 fee per notarial transaction.
We are unable to control this fee, and it is not eligible for pro-bono discounts except in very limited circumstances.
Fingerprint Rolling Services
We provide traditional ink rolled fingerprinting services for $20 per card.
Our office keeps a stock of FBI FD-258 Applicant Cards on hand, but you may bring in your own cards to be filled out if you like.
Although it is not typically required by law enforcement agencies, we will provide a free acknowledgement certificate with your fingerprint card if you would like one. This certifies that you were the person to fill out the fingerprint card.
Secure Document Destruction
We will securely destroy up to 50 sheets of documents for a $10 fee, and $5 for each additional 50 sheets.
Documents should be dropped off at our office in-person, in a manila envelope labeled "Documents to be destroyed".
Documents will be destroyed to P-3 (Cross-cut) security standards, in compliance with HIPAA and FACTA regulations.
Add-on Services
Documents may be reviewed, and sensitive information redacted prior to shredding, for a fee of $1 per single-sided page.
Documents up to 300 pages may be destroyed using a furnace, rather than a shredder, for a flat fee of $30.
